It’s been more than a month since we put the plants in the ground. They grow well! Here and there there is even a splash that comes out above the plastic covers. Rabbits like to eat from the first shoots, which is why we put those covers over them.
This week we put all the poles in the ground. Then tighten the wires and the vineyard is finished a bit more.

On April 25, 2020, our first 3600 vines were planted mechanically by Carlo Faber. The varieties we chose are Auxerrois, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, a test field with 650 Sauvignon Blanc vines was also planted. Nowhere in the Heuvelland has the Sauvignon Blanc grape been planted before.
Next year we will expand further and go to 12500 sticks. The varieties will be the same, only the Pinot Noir grape will be added.
We are looking forward to 2023 for a first tasting!
